Every investment has a purpose, but not all investors understand what they are investing for. One of our aims is to help you visualise what your investment should do for you. We encourage clients to name their investments, giving them meaningful labels like "Daughter's wedding," or "Caribbean holiday," or "New yacht." Whatever the name, this helps simplify the way you think about your investment, and makes thinking and talking about it easier.

Whatever service we provide, we make sure we know the timescale of the investment, the risk, and if the client wants income or capital growth, or a combination of both.

We also make sure there's an emergency fund of cash that clients can access in emergencies, if they need to.

Our primary concern is researching the funds (be they PEPs, ISAs, Unit Trusts, Bonds, or Pensions) and the wider investment marketplace, so we can always make recommendations for sensible investment.
